Last night I had a very sweet comfort nightmare. For some reason i couldn’t speak fist barely could move. My ex showed up don’t exactly remembered what she said but some how with a small blade I wrote on a leather or skin hardly write down please don’t get close to me. She couldn’t read it I tried 3,4 times until I said it and she was like why? You don’t love me any more? I wanted to say a cold no and close the conversation but instead I asked how long since you broke up with me? It’s almost 4 years she said 2.5 years I said for 2.5 years I’m still crying over what you did to me the wound you left will be with Me forever just because I loved you. I still do, so you still can hurt me so please keep away. Right away I regret telling her that but she didn’t leave instead hugged me so warm I couldn’t hold my tears
Dreams about past relationships and ex-partners often reflect unresolved feelings, emotional healing, and inner conflicts. Let's break down the components of your dream for a comprehensive interpretation:
This part of your dream symbolizes a feeling of helplessness or being unable to express yourself in a situation that might be causing you distress in real life. It suggests there are emotions or thoughts you find difficult to articulate in your waking life, possibly related to your past relationship.
Your ex-girlfriend showing up in the dream may indicate that there are unresolved issues or lingering feelings regarding the relationship. Dreams like this are common when your subconscious mind is processing past relationships and their impact on your current emotional state.
Writing on leather or skin could symbolize trying to make an impact or permanently communicate something significant. It can suggest that you are making an effort to communicate your boundaries or protect yourself from potential emotional harm, though it's difficult to convey accurately, as is often the case in waking life.
The conversation about the break-up and expressing how the wounds still affect you implies an ongoing struggle with closure. This part of the dream symbolizes the process of acknowledging the hurt and the need for healing. It reflects internal conflict - wanting to express your hurt yet longing for reconciliation or understanding.
The hug from your ex implies a need for comfort and emotional connection. This can suggest that there is a part of you seeking closure, forgiveness, or healing from the past hurt. Crying indicates a release of pent-up emotions and acknowledges the deep feelings of loss or pain associated with this past relationship.
Your dream seems to be both a reflection of internal struggles and a chance for emotional release. The conflicting actions and emotions - struggling to articulate, expressing hurt, seeking distance then finding comfort - mirror your complex feelings about the relationship. This dream suggests a need for healing and the acceptance of emotions before you can fully move on. It might be useful to explore these feelings further, possibly through introspection, creative expression, or even discussing them with someone you trust.
